Cybercriminals and nefarious nation-state actors are increasingly abusing the cyberspace with new tools, tactics, and processes to steal sensitive information, perpetrate online extortion, taking down networks and computer systems. Revolutionary approaches are needed to bolster cybersecurity for the defence industrial base and all national critical sectors by empowering threat intelligence. Threat intelligence provides the critical understanding on what the threat actors, either foreign or domestics are doing. Insights such as threat indicators, mitigation strategies, critical incidents and best practices are crucial to proactively evaluate risks duly defend critical operations or services from unwanted disruptions.

This conference track is focused on threat intelligence, its importance and how organizations can leverage on it to create a robust defensive mechanism against current and future cyber threats. It also serves as a platform to advocate the public-private partnership in maturing our national unity towards maintaining and strengthening secure, functioning and resilient critical infrastructure.
